1941年以降、ベルリンに住むユダヤ人は、グルーネヴァルト駅から市の東部にあるゲットーや絶滅収容所に運ばれ、5万5千人以上が帰らぬ人となった。この駅の17番ホームのモニュメントは、悲しい歴史を物語っている。 From 1941, Jews living in Berlin were transported from Grunewald station to the ghettos and extermination camps in the eastern part of the city, where more than 55,000 people never returned. The monuments on platform 17 of the station tell the sad story. Ab 1941 wurden die in Berlin lebenden Juden vom Bahnhof Grunewald in die Ghettos und Vernichtungslager im Ostteil der Stadt transportiert, wohin mehr als 55.000 Menschen nicht mehr zurückkehrten. Die Denkmäler auf dem Bahnsteig 17 des Bahnhofs erzählen die traurige Geschichte. À partir de 1941, les Juifs vivant à Berlin ont été transportés de la gare de Grunewald vers les ghettos et les camps d'extermination de la partie est de la ville, d'où plus de 55.000 personnes ne sont jamais revenues. Les monuments situés sur le quai 17 de la gare racontent cette triste histoire.
