Day - 7.3 - ニャチャン 【Kerala Palace - Authentic Indian Restaurant 🇮🇳】 https://maps.app.goo.gl/J8yABuXRB9qg2ebm8?g_st=ic 明日はパタヤへ戻るので、ベトナム最後の夜。 ベトナムでは最後はいつも4P’sのPizza🍕と決めてはいたものの…… 今回は、違う風が強く吹いた…🌬️🌪️ そういえば今回、まだ納得のいくインド料理を食べていない。 そんなことに思いが寄せられて、辿り着いたのがこの店。 結論から言うと―― 私にとって、ベトナムでの「マストのお店」がまた一つ増えました。😋👍 私（日本人）がお店を選ぶ時、料理の味と同じくらい気になるのが「清潔感」。 高級である必要はないけれど、少なくとも小綺麗であってほしい。 この店は入った瞬間から、今まで行ったインド料理店とは何かが違いました。 スタッフの方々は皆さんインド人のようでしたが、接客の仕方、話し方、ちょっとした気遣いまで、とても気持ちがいい。 そして肝心の料理。 注文したものとは別の一品まで持ってきて、 「是非これも食べてみてください」 と……。 こういう一言と心遣いに弱いんだよなぁ…😅 そして、旅というのは面白いもので―― 偶々、隣のテーブルにいたインドからのお客さんと話し始めたら止まらない。 「初めての海外旅行で日本へ行った時、別の惑星🪐に来たみたいだった」 そんな話から始まって、日本とインド、それぞれの文化や価値観、そしてその違いは一体どこから生まれてくるのか……。 気がつけば、1時間以上も話し込んでいました。 料理を食べに来ただけなのに、いつの間にか文化論…🤣 帰り際にはオーナーの方から、 「食事はいかがでしたか？」 と聞かれたので、本心から伝えたのは…、 「インド料理店で、正直ここまで綺麗にお店を保っていることに驚きました。その意識から生まれてくる料理の味にも感激しました」 4P’sへ向かうはずだった最後の夜… 美味しい料理に出会ったことも嬉しいけれど、 こういう人や時間に出会えることの方が、旅では記憶に残ったりする。 正に風来坊旅の醍醐味👍 違う方向から吹いてきた風に乗ってみたら、 また一つ、戻って来たい場所が増えた。 やっぱり風来坊の旅は、予定通りじゃない方が面白い…😉🌬️ Day 7.3 – Nha Trang 【Kerala Palace Authentic Indian Restaurant 🇮🇳】 Tomorrow, I’ll be heading back to Pattaya, so this is my last night in Vietnam. Whenever I’m in Vietnam, I usually make it a rule to finish the trip with a pizza at 4P’s 🍕… But this time, a different wind was blowing…🌬️🌪️ Then it occurred to me — I still hadn’t found an Indian restaurant on this trip that really satisfied me. So I followed that thought, and somehow ended up here. To cut to the chase — I’ve just added another place to my “must-visit” list in Vietnam. 😋👍 As a Japanese person, when I choose a restaurant, one thing matters to me almost as much as the food itself: cleanliness. It doesn’t have to be fancy or luxurious, but I do want it to be clean and well kept. The moment I walked into this restaurant, I immediately felt there was something different about it compared with other Indian restaurants I’ve visited. The staff all seemed to be Indian, and everything from the way they spoke to the way they served and looked after their customers was genuinely pleasant. And then, of course, the food. Along with what I ordered, they brought me another dish and simply said, “Please try this too.” I have a soft spot for little gestures like that…😅 And this is where traveling gets interesting… By chance, there was a guest from India sitting at the next table, and once we started talking, we just couldn’t stop. He told me, “When I went to Japan on my first trip abroad, I felt like I had landed on another planet.” 🪐 That led us into a conversation about Japan and India — our cultures, our values, and where those differences might actually come from. Before I knew it, we had been talking for more than an hour. I came here for Indian food and somehow ended up discussing culture and philosophy…🤣 On my way out, the owner asked me, “How was your meal?” So I told him exactly what I thought: “Honestly, I was surprised to see an Indian restaurant kept this clean and well cared for. And I could feel that same attention and pride in the food. I was truly impressed.” I was supposed to be heading to 4P’s on my last night… Finding great food is always a pleasure, but sometimes it’s the people you meet and the time you share with them that stay in your memory much longer. That’s exactly what I love about traveling as a wanderer. 👍 I followed a wind blowing in a different direction, and it led me to yet another place I know I’ll want to come back to. After all, a wanderer’s journey is always more interesting when things don’t go according to plan… 😉🌬️
