At the age of 16, he founded a Taiko group called “TENRYU-DAIKO”. In 2002 he won a special prize of the “Viennese World Youth Music Festival” in Vienna. In 2003 he was accepted into his master Eitetsu Hayashi’s ensemble called “FUUN-NO-KAI”. In 2011 he became a regular member of the German drum group called “Drumaturgia” and joined “World Percussion Ensemble”. In the past years, he has visited over 22 countries through his Taiko performances. He is one of very few best solo Taiko players in the world, making each of his performances exquisite and unforgettable for everyone. 福井県出身。ドイツ・ミュンヘン在住。3歳から和太鼓に深く興味を持ち、小学校低学年で和太鼓集団「天龍太鼓」に入会、作曲および演奏活動を始める。1999年に「天龍太鼓」の指導者となり、2002年7月には「天龍太鼓」のメンバーと共に「ウィーン世界青少年音楽祭」に招聘されウィーン市特別大賞を受賞。2003年、和太鼓の第一人者、林英哲の主宰する「英哲風雲の会」のプロオーディションに合格。2011年に渡独。プロ活動開始から訪れた国の数は22 *を超え、世界的に見ても希少なソロの太鼓奏者としてますます活動の幅を広げている。

Amazon: https://music.amazon.co.uk/albums/B086L6XSZL Deezer: https://www.deezer.com/en/album/138989632 Tidal: https://tidal.com/browse/album/135894812 #taiko #takuya #taikoist #japan #music #toptaikoplayer #drumming #international #performance #theatre #film #worldwide #太鼓 #音楽 #日本 Taiko-ist TAKUYA (和太鼓奏者 谷口卓也) 1983年生まれ。福井県出身。ドイツ・ミュンヘン在住。3歳から和太鼓に深く興味を持ち、小学校低学年で和太鼓集団「天龍太鼓」に入会、作曲および演奏活動を始める。 1999年に「天龍太鼓」の指導者となり、2002年7月には「天龍太鼓」のメンバーと共に「ウィーン世界青少年音楽祭」に招聘されウィーン市特別大賞を受賞する。2003年、和太鼓の第一人者、林英哲の主宰する「英哲風雲の会」のプロオーディションに合格。「国際太鼓フェスティバルエクスタジア2003」に出演、プロデビューする。以降、林英哲とともに国内外の数多くのイベントに出演し、第一線で活躍。ソロとしても歌舞伎やヨーロピアンジャズ、津軽三味線、ピアニストなどジャンルを超えたコラボレーションを展開し、和太鼓の枠にとらわれない新しいスタイルを創造し続けている。 2011年に渡独。現在はドイツの太鼓グループ「Drumaturgia」、そして「WPE（World Percussion Ensemble）」の主力メンバーとして、ヨーロッパを中心に世界的な演奏活動を行っている。プロ活動開始から訪れた国の数は22 *を超え、世界的に見ても希少なソロの太鼓奏者としてますます活動の幅を広げている。作曲、音楽監督、オーケストラや現地ミュージシャンとの共演など、多岐に渡るオファーにも対応可能。ヨーロッパから日本の太鼓文化を広める唯一無二の存在として数多くのイベントに出演し、音楽での交流の橋渡しを行いながら世界で活躍する日本人太鼓奏者としての地位を確立している。
