ロンドンにある、チェルシーFCのコブハムトレーニングセンター（Cobham Training Centre）を訪問。『チェルシーFC×ISA』の特別プログラムである、チェルシーFC アカデミー講習に参加させていただいた。 チェルシーアカデミーの組織と役割、チェルシーメソッドの育成法や、スカウトの仕事等について、詳細に渡り説明頂いた。 チェルシーアカデミーの組織体系や各スタッフの役割についての説明をはじめ、ユース選手を育成する手法、チェルシーアカデミーが育成に重要視するコンセプトやチェルシースカウトが掲げる7つの評価基準など、具体的な実例を交えた詳細な説明があり、大変充実した内容のレクチャーだった。 講習後にロンドン中心部に向かう電車を待つ駅 Cobham & Stoke d'Abernon station で、トレーニングセンターが駅から直結しているのを発見。言われるまでまったく気づかなかったが、チェルシークラブ関係者専用の通用口が設置されているという。 リバプールをバスで深夜0時に出発し翌朝ロンドン・ビクトリアに到着、そして当日夕方にバスに乗りリバプールに23時過ぎに到着するという、強行日程（節約日程？）での参加だった。 #ChelseaFC#academy#Cobham
Celtic FC- Celtic Park セルティックFCのホームスタジアム、セルティックパーク: LIVING WITH FOOTBALL
2019年5月に、リバプール大学Football Industries MBA (FIMBA)のプログラムの一環として、スコットランドはグラスゴーにある、スコティッシュプレミアリーグ・セルティックFCのホームスタジアムであるセルティックパークを訪問。 1887年創立のセルティックFC。リバプールFCのレジェンド、スティーブン・ジェラード率いるグラスゴーレンジャーズとのダービーで有名だが、何と言ってもここは、中村俊輔選手が2005年から2008年まで在籍していたクラブ。 2021年には、古橋亨梧選手も在籍している。 いまだに何度見ても鳥肌の立つ、あの芸術的なフリーキック。そんな彼のプレーに魅了されたファンで埋め尽くされていたであろう、このセルティックパークのピッチサイドに立ち、なんとも言えない感動を覚えた。 スタジアムは60,000人収容。設備としては決して新しくはないものの、クラブとともに長い歴史を持つスタジアムだからこその歴史と伝統を感じさせる雰囲気だった。 Celtic FC website http://www.celticfc.net/mainindex #セルティック#スタジアム#FIMBA

Wednesday took the lead early on and were in control of the game from start to finish. Although they were unable to score more goals to finish off the game, with a goal disallowed for offside, but Wednesday won 1-0, overwhelmed by performace and overtaking Plymouth to move to the top of the table. After the game, chants of 'We're Top of the League' was everywhere around the stadium, and the Wednesday supporters were in high spirits. This stadium is also where the 'Hillsborough Disaster' took place, and a stone monument has been erected near the main gate in memory and tributed of the 97 Liverpool fans (96 at the time of the previous visiting) who died. Their opponents are York City, who are in the National League, the equivalent of the Fifth Division. Both teams won from the FA Cup qualifiers to advance to the main round of the competition in one game. They are in the Northern Premier League Division One West One (which stands at level 8), the clash was a Local Derby, with both teams having a home in Staffordshire. The home team, Newcastle Town FC, merged with Parkway Clayton in 1986. The stadium has a capacity of 4,000, with a roofed capacity of 1,000, and 300 seats. The stadium is surrounded by one of the few cycling tracks in the north of the country and is also known as a stadium that has hosted many competitions and has previously been used by some of the great British cycling teams. In the 1996-67 season, the club reached the first round of the FA Cup for the first time, but failed to reach the second round, losing 2-0 to Notts County. The club also won titles such as the Staffordshire Senior Cup and the Staffordshire FA Sunday Cup. The game was played at Hanley Town FC's pace, with Newcastle Town FC taking the few chances they had to take the lead. Hanley Town FC continued to dominate possession throughout the second half and were awarded a penalty in 85 minutes. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. Stockport County FC is a football club in the south east of Greater Manchester, England. The club was founded in 1883 as Heaton Norris Rovers and changed its name to Stockport County Football Club in 1890 to reflect the town gaining County Borough status. The club's nickname, "The Hatters," is derived from the 19th century hat manufacturing industry in Stockport. The club was relegated to the non-league for the first time in their history in the 2010-11 season, but won the National League North (equivalent to the 6th division) in the 2018-19 season. The club was based at the Green Lane stadium until 1902, but since then they have been using the current Edgeley Park. The Cheadle End, located behind the goals on the west side of the stadium, is the largest stand with a capacity of over 5,000. Also, The 1883, located in the same stand, is also used as a wedding hall and conference room to support the club's revenue outside of match days. The Railway End, the opposite stand, has an electronic billboard. The FA Trophy is open to all 310 teams (2021-22 season) from the 5th to 8th Tiers, and their opponent, Cheshunt FC, are a club in the Isthmian League Premier Division (equivalent to the 7th division). In the early stages of the game, the home side Stockport County made a lot of mistakes and were on the attack, but they managed to keep their opponents at bay in the first half. After a change of players from the second half, the game gradually began to flow and Stockport County scored the first goal in 60 minutes. Port Vale Football Club is a football club in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, West Midlands, England. The club was founded in 1876, and for a while the club survived under the name Burslem Port Vale. However, the club moved a few miles away from its home ground due to financial difficulties, thus losing the place name Burslem. On a previous visit to the stadium, we were not able to see much of the exterior due to the Covid pandemic, but this time we were able to explore. The official store was well stocked, with gold and white home uniforms nearby the entrance and original products such as the region's famous Oatcake. As the opposition was Brentford FC, a Premier League club, around 8,000 fans crowd around. Port Vale were hopeless in the first half as Brentford took the lead, but in the second half they continued to push forward and at one point were within a goal. Port Vale missed a couple of big chances afterwards, and conceded a third goal from the counter attack. The club was founded in 1863 and is the oldest professional football club in the world, having won the FA Cup in 1894 and was a founder member of the Football League (now the Premier League), where they finished 3rd in the top flight (for two seasons). The club was relegated to the second division in 1994-95 and currently plays in the National League(equivalent to the 5th Tier). The club was originally based of inside the grounds of the Nottingham Castle, and moved to a cricket ground and then to the Nottingham Forest ground. In 1910, they found a new stadium and now is known as Meadown Lane. The stadium has a capacity of 20,300, consists of four separate stands and has a smart looking. History continues outside the stadium with statues of club legends Jimmy Sirrel and Jack Wheeler, who were instrumental in the club's golden era. Across the Trent Bridge is the City Ground, home of Nottingham Forest and the two grounds are the closest in England. City Ground, the home of Nottingham Forest, faces the river, and the stadium of Notts County, currently in the National league, equivalent to the 5th division in England, can be seen from the Trent Bridge. City Ground was built in 1898, but the main stand was destroyed in a fire in 1968 against Leeds United. The Peter Taylor Stand, which was built after the fire, has older chairs and concourses than the other stands, so you can feel the history. The new project of the main stand will start soon, adding about 10,000 seats, and is expected to be completed by 2022-2023. In terms of the game, both sides failed to create any chances. The away team Peterborough United having the best chance in the end of 1st half, but failing to score.
