こんにちは、慶子です。三十代、新潟市出身のミシガン州在住です。日本でALT（英語補助教師）をしていた旦那のサムと出会い、結婚。最初シアトルに２年滞在したのち、ミシガン州に引っ越してきました。 渡米して６年経ちますが、今でもアメリカの文化や習慣に驚かされたり、感銘を受けるとこが多々あります。そんな毎日が刺激的で幸せなばかりです。この私の経験や体験をみなさんにシェアしたいと思って動画を作っています。家族と遠く辛いこともありますが、住む家があること、周りみんなに支えられていることに感謝し、ずっと笑っています！ Hello, my name is Keiko. I’m from Niigata, Japan and live in Michigan. I met my husband when he was teaching English as an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) in Japan, and we moved to the States. First we lived in Seattle for about 2 years, and then we moved to Michigan where he got his MBA degree. It’s been 6 years since I moved to the US. But still I get surprised and amazed by American culture and customs every day. It makes me excited and appreciative of what I have. It is hard to be far away from my family sometimes, but I am grateful that I can have this experience that most Japanese can't. コロナで帰国出来ない。最期に会えない。My grandma is dying. But I can't go back to Japan. I hate coronavirus.
Thank you for watching this video. This virus has impacted so much of our life for people all over the world. This pandemic made me re-think what is important my life. I’m tired of cooking! I don’t want to cook. It’s very hot cooking in summer, so I don't want to cook. Plus, I wanted to try something I can't cook myself. I've been cooking too much during quarantine, so now burnt out and getting takeout more. We’ve gotten takeout a couple of times. 【アメリカブログ】Sharing old family recipe: How to make Spring Rolls! 母から教わった春巻きの作り方 母の味
Spring Roll Ingredients: Chicken Breast ( Thigh is ok too) 1 piece Japanese green scallion 3 Bamboo 1 package Shiitake mushroom (Shimeji mushroom is ok too) 1 package Glass noodle 100g ++Seasoning for chicken Salt. 1/8teaspoon Pepper. 1/8teaspoon Soy sauce 1 teaspoon ++Seasoning for filling (roughly) Salt. 1/2teaspoon Pepper 1/4 teaspoon Sesame oil 2 tablespoon Soy sauce 1 1/2 tablespoon 1. Slice all vegetables and chicken to about the same size. 2. Season chicken before you stir fry and let sit at least 5 minutes. 3. Boil noodles with hot water just soft enough to cut (~2 minutes) 4. Cut noodles 1-2 inches 4. Stir fry chicken first and add vegetables then noodles. When its all cooked, season them. (The seasoning gives it lots of flavors so you don’t need any sauce when its done.) 5. Make rolls with Red spring wrapper. 6. Fried in oil 335F/170C 3-5 minutes 春巻き (材料) 鶏ムネ肉（もも肉でも可） 一枚 ねぎ（ニラでも可） 三本 たけのこ 一個 椎茸（しめじでも可）１パック 春雨 １００g 鶏肉下味 塩 少々 胡椒 少々 醤油 小さじ１ 調味料 塩 小さじ１ 胡椒 ２つまみくらい ごま油 大さじ２ 醤油 大さじ1 1/2 野菜類と鶏肉全てを千切りに。鶏肉には下味を。春雨は切れるくらいに茹でて切っておく。 鶏肉から炒め、野菜、春雨を加え炒めていく。火が通ったら味付けを。野菜炒めとしてそのまま食べれるくらいに、しっかりと味をつける。こおすると、ソースも何も付けづに食べられる春巻きになります。 春巻きの皮で巻いて、１７０度でカラッと揚げて完成！ 動画を見て頂きありがとうございます。 サブスクライブして頂けるとやる気が増します！ 毎週月曜日（アメリカのね）にアップしていきます。 Thank you very much for watching and subscribing! It’s been over 3 months since this pandemic started. Since Sam started working from home, he’s been growing his hair and beard. As hair salons and barbers are starting to reopen in Michigan, its time to give him a hair cut! I know he loves the mullet hairstyle, however I dislike it. It reminds me of Japanese teenage boys getting into trouble. But he wants to do it because It seems like he might be working from home for a long time. Now spending more time at home is a new normal. So we decided to try something new! This time, Sam became a one-day Sushi chef. Sam has never cooled anything before, an only recently learned how to use a microwave. Sushi doesn’t require using a knife, so I thought it he might be able to do it! 【ミシガン】The rocks looks like faces! Incredible Pictured Rocks in UP Michigan断崖絶壁の五大湖カヤックツアー
UP Michigan Trip (Part 2/2) On the second day, we joined a 3 hour kayak tour to see Pictured Rocks. We checked in at an office in downtown Munising, and parked our car 10 minutes from the office. We got a short lecture and left for the cliff in a bus with a group of other Kayakers. It was amazing to see the rocks, although we couldn’t see everything.
