獅子ヶ谷城は小田切氏の居城として知られています。慶長年間（1596年〜1615年）に小田切氏が築いたと伝わっていますが、縄張りの単純さなどから北条氏が関東を支配していた時代にすでに存在し、小机城の支城として機能していたとも、さらにさかのぼって鎌倉時代から室町時代初期に築城されたとも考えられています。現在城址は「みその公園」として整備されており、空掘や堀切などの遺構が残っています。また、小田切氏が江戸移住に際してその屋敷の一部を横溝氏に譲ったとされる「横溝屋敷」が横浜市文化財に登録されており、無料公開されています。 Shishigatani Castle is known as the residence of the Odagiri clan. 【山口県】【🇯🇵毛利輝元が指月山麓に築城した萩城跡 指月公園🇯🇵】Shizuki Park, the ruins of Hagi Castle, built by Mori Terumoto
萩城は慶長9年（1604）に毛利輝元が指月山麓に築城したことから、別名指月城とも呼ばれ、山麓の平城と山頂の山城とを合わせた平山城で、本丸、二の丸、三の丸、詰丸からなっていました。 本丸には高さ8間（14.4ｍ）の五層の天守がありましたが、明治7年（1874）に天守、矢倉などの建物は全て解体され、現在は石垣と堀の一部が昔の姿をとどめ、ここ一帯は国の史跡に指定されています。 旧本丸跡に歴代藩主を祀る志都岐山神社が創建された際、総面積約20万㎡の境内が指月公園として整備されました。城跡の構造をよく残していることが特徴で、園内には天守跡、梨羽家茶室、万歳橋、東園などの旧跡があります。また、幕末13代藩主毛利敬親が安政年間に藩主別邸・花江御殿に増築し、家臣とともに茶事に託して時勢を論じた茶室「花江茶亭」が明治22年に園内に移築されています。 Hagi Castle, also known as Shizuki Castle, was built by Mori Terumoto at the foot of Mt. Shizuki in 1604. 一乗谷朝倉氏遺跡は、戦国大名朝倉氏が５代103年間にわたる越前支配の拠点として計画的に築いた城下町跡です。発掘調査が始まった1967年から半世紀以上、調査研究及び史跡整備が続けられています。1971年には一乗谷城を含む278haが国の特別史跡に、1991年には諏訪館跡庭園、湯殿跡庭園、朝倉館跡庭園、南陽寺跡庭園の四庭園が特別名勝に、さらに2007年には遺跡出土品のうち、2,343点が重要文化財に指定されました。 The Ichijodani Asakura Clan Ruins are the remains of a castle town that was systematically constructed as a base for the Sengoku period feudal lord Asakura, who ruled Echizen for 103 years over five generations. 唐津城は、豊臣秀吉の家臣、寺沢志摩守広高（てらざわしまのかみひろたか）によって慶長7年（1602）から7年の歳月を費やして築城されました。東西に伸びる松原が両翼を広げた鶴のように見えることから、別名「舞鶴城」と呼ばれています。 その城主には寺沢、大久保、松平、土井、水野、小笠原の諸氏が任ぜられています。 唐津城築城当初は、天守閣はありませんでしたが、昭和41年（1966）に文化観光施設として天守閣を建てました。天守閣内は郷土博物館になっていて、唐津藩の資料や唐津焼などが展示され、唐津の歴史に触れることができます。また、展望所からは玄界灘と虹の松原の雄大な景観や、松浦川と城下町唐津の風景を見ることができます。 Karatsu Castle was built over a seven-year period beginning in 1602 by Terazawa Shimanokami Hirotaka, a vassal of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. It is also known as "Maizuru Castle" (Maizuru Castle) because the pine grove stretching from east to west resembles a crane with its wings spread. The castle was originally built by the Terazawa, Okubo, Matsudaira, Doi, Mizuno, and Ogasawara clans. 【鶴見区】【⛩️横浜にある熊野神社 師岡熊野神社⛩️】Kumano Shrine in Yokohama, Morooka Kumano Shrine
この神社は聖武天皇神亀元甲子年（西暦724年）に全寿仙人によって開かれ熊野山の中腹に鎮祭し、和歌山県熊野三社の祭神と御一体です。 仁和元年7月には光孝天皇の勅使六条中納言藤原有房卿が此地に下向され「関東随一大霊験所熊埜宮」の勅額を賜わり、それ以来宇多、醍醐、朱雀、村上天皇の勅願所として社僧十七坊が附せられました。数多くの古神事の中で現在続行している筒粥神事は1000年以上にもなります。 観応2年6月17日、雷火のため社殿は消失しましたが、神体、社宝は無事であり特に貞治3年の熊野山縁起は現存して神社の故事を今に伝えています。 例えば勅使着用の大口袴は大口の地名に残り、供奉者の足を洗った子安足洗川、顔を清めた西寺尾町字面滝、馬の鐙を納めた鐙宮（阿府神社）参向儀式の行われた式坂、更にいの池(指定地域史跡)、のの池、ちの池の故事等、枚挙にいとまがありません。 享禄2年北条早雲公、慶長4年徳川家康公、寛永19年家光公、寛文5年家綱公より御朱印地を戴いたのを始め、代々、将軍家の崇敬極めて篤く神社への御朱印は幕末まで続けられました。 This shrine was founded by the hermit Zenju in the year Jinki Genkoshi (724 AD) during the reign of Emperor Shomu, and enshrined halfway up Mount Kumano. It is one with the deities enshrined at the three Kumano shrines in Wakayama Prefecture. In July of the first year of the Ninna era, Emperor Koko's imperial envoy, Rokujo Chunagon Fujiwara Arifusa, descended on the site and bestowed the imperial seal of "Kumano-gu Shrine, Kanto's Greatest Miraculous Shrine." Since then, the shrine has been attended by 17 priests and monks as an imperial shrine for Emperors Uda, Daigo, Suzaku, and Murakami. Of the many ancient rituals, the Tsutsugayu ritual, which is still ongoing today, is more than 1,000 years old. On June 17, 2nd year of the Kan'o era, the main shrine building was destroyed by lightning, but the sacred object and treasures were unharmed. In particular, the Kumano Mountain Engi from 1823 still exists, and conveys the shrine's history to the present day. For example, the Oguchi hakama worn by imperial envoys remain in the place name Oguchi; Koyasu Ashiarai River where attendants' feet were washed; Omotaki Falls in Nishiterao-cho where faces were purified; Shikizaka where the ceremony to visit Abumimiya (Afu Shrine) where horse stirrups were placed was held; and the stories of Ino Pond (designated local historic site), Nono Pond, and Chino Pond; the list goes on and on. The shrine was given goshuin land by Hojo Soun in 1899, Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1601, Iemitsu in 1634, and Ietsuna in 1662, and the reverence of the Shogun family was so deep that goshuin stamps at the shrine continued until the end of the Edo period. 平和祈念公園は本島南部の「沖縄戦終焉の地」糸満市摩文仁の丘陵を南に望み、 南東側に険しく美しい海岸線を眺望できる台地にあります。 公園内には沖縄戦の写真や遺品などを展示した平和祈念資料館、沖縄戦で亡くなられたすべての人々の氏名を刻んだ「平和の礎」、戦没者の鎮魂と永遠の平和を祈る「平和祈念像」、そして摩文仁の丘の上には国立沖縄戦没者墓苑や府県、団体の慰霊塔が50基建立されています。国内外の観光客をはじめ、慰霊団、修学旅行生等が多く訪れる聖地であり、観光の要所ともなっております。 Peace Memorial Park is located on a plateau overlooking the Mabuni Hills in Itoman City, the "place where the Battle of Okinawa ended," in the southern part of the main island, to the south, and offers views of the rugged, beautiful coastline to the southeast. The park is home to the Peace Memorial Museum, which displays photographs and personal effects from the Battle of Okinawa; the Cornerstone of Peace, which is inscribed with the names of all those who died in the Battle of Okinawa; the Peace Memorial Statue, which prays for the repose of the souls of the war dead and eternal peace; and, on Mabuni Hill, the National Cemetery of the Okinawa War Dead, as well as 50 memorial towers belonging to prefectures and organizations. 江戸時代に城下町として栄えた柳川は「水郷（水のまち）」としても知られる観光名所。 「掘割」と呼ばれる水路の歴史は古く、かつては農業用水、防火用水、生活用水の確保にも使われていた重要なものでした。戦国時代には防衛を目的に複雑に張り巡らされ、現在は930kmもの長さに。水の音を聞きながらかつての城下町を眺める川下りは、日本国内の観光客はもちろん、海外のお客様にも人気です。 福岡市街地から車で約1時間、または西鉄福岡（天神）駅から西鉄柳川駅まで特急列車で約50分でアクセスできます。 Yanagawa, which flourished as a castle town during the Edo period, is a tourist attraction known as a "suigo (water town)." The waterways known as "howari" have a long history and were once important, serving as water for agriculture, fire prevention, and daily life. During the Sengoku period, they were laid out in an intricate network for defensive purposes, and now stretch out to a length of 930 km. River boat rides, where you can view the former castle town while listening to the sound of the water, are popular with both Japanese and international tourists. The town is about an hour's drive from downtown Fukuoka, or about 50 minutes by express train from Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station to Nishitetsu Yanagawa Station. 広島東照宮は徳川家康公を御祭神にお祀りした神社です。家康公薨去後33年忌に当る慶安元年（1648年）、当時の広島藩主浅野光晟公（浅野家第四代）によって、広島城の鬼門（北東）の方向に当たる二葉山の山麓に造営されました。 Hiroshima Toshogu Shrine is a shrine dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu. It was built in 1648 (the first year of the Keian era), 33 years after Ieyasu's death, by Asano Mitsuakira (the fourth head of the Asano clan), the lord of Hiroshima at the time, at the foot of Mount Futaba, which faces the northeast (unlucky direction) of Hiroshima Castle. 【広島県】【🇯🇵瀬戸内海のレトロな港町 御手洗町並み重要伝統的建造物群保存地区🇯🇵】A preserved area of a retro port town in Japan
ここは広島県大崎下島の港町 御手洗地区です。 江戸時代、潮待ちや風待ちの港町として栄えた御手洗は、平成6年重要伝統的建造物群保存地区として国から選定されました。 土地が狭いため数度にわたって埋め立てられた御手洗は、大小の商家、茶屋、船宿、住宅、神社、寺院などが混在し、集落中心路、集落連絡路、集落生活路（小路）等が網の目のように巡っています。また大波止、石橋、高燈籠、石垣護岸、雁木等、港町の生活上必要な土木的建造物が当時のまま現存しているものもあります。 御手洗地区は１７世紀の中頃形成されて以来、江戸時代の約２００年間を経て昭和初期に至るまで、瀬戸内海交通の中継港として、時代時代に応じた発展を示し、その痕跡を今も集落内に留めています。 This is the Mitarai district, a port town on Osaki-Shimojima Island in Hiroshima Prefecture. Mitarai flourished during the Edo period as a port town where people waited for favorable tides and winds. In 1994, it was designated by the national government as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Mitarai's limited land area has led to it being reclaimed several times. It is now a diverse mix of large and small merchant houses, teahouses, boathouses, residential buildings, shrines, and temples, and the area is crisscrossed by a network of central village roads, connecting village streets, and community streets (alleys). Some of the civil engineering structures essential to port life, such as the large wharf, stone bridges, tall lanterns, stone revetments, and gangways, remain intact. Since its formation in the mid-17th century, the Mitarai district has developed throughout the years as a transit port on the Seto Inland Sea, spanning approximately 200 years during the Edo period and into the early Showa period. Traces of this development remain within the village today.
