I visited & recorded two train swaps at Richburg/SC on the L&C Railroad. Train ID: 12 LC 4431, Ex-UP 4431(SD70M) LC 4443, Ex-UP 4443(SD70M) Train ID: 14 LC 8784, Ex-CSX 8784(SD60M) LC 6002, Ex-SP 8257(SD40T-2) Built 1980 It was a great place for me as I love the sound of EMD locomotive engines. I also wanted to take a video of the SD40T-2 leader, but maybe next time! カリフォルニアのTrona Railway、ミネソタのDM&IRに続いて、SD40T-2シリーズ第3弾です。 サウスカロライナのL&Cでは１両しか保有していないので動いているか微妙でしたが、撮影出来てよかったです。 オハイオのW&LEもリベンジしたいですね、独立250周年記念塗装が格好良すぎるので。 Recorded date: 2025年10月6日

The ex-MRL 2nd sub, which runs along the Missouri River, not only offers stunning scenery, but the sound of train horns echoing through the mountains is a wonderful sound that everyone should hear at least once. The day before returning to Japan from Atlanta, I tried out railfanning in Locust Grove. It was a pleasant breezy afternoon, and the clouds gradually cleared, making it a great spot. I hope to visit the US again someday, but for now, my busy work schedule will take priority. CSX railfanning at Folkston Georgia etc. 〜南部アメリカの貨物列車CSX編〜
Folkston/GA, CSX busy mainline is a paradise for train enthusiasts. On the day I visited, the train was moving slowly due to Maintenance of Way, making it easy to take photos. Shortlines Tour ⑤ Cater Parrott Railnet ~南部アメリカ地方貨物鉄道ツアー⑤~
I visited CPR Valdosta Division, I was expecting a freight train, but unexpectedly it was a day to prepare passenger cars! CPR 7000, ex-FEC408(GP40) CPR 9001, ex-NS2727(SD70M-2) They run a holiday train "Azalea Sprinter" on the weekend. On this day, they were preparing for a pizza train. Shortlines Tour ② Greenville & Western, Pickens ~南部アメリカ地方貨物鉄道ツアー②~
Belton, South Carolina is an interchange for two shortlines. Greenville & Western Railway, Belton to Pelzer GRLW 4204(GP30u) Built 1963 GRLW 3751(GP9) Built 1957 Pickens Railway, Anderson (via Belton) to Honea Path PICK 9507, Ex-CSX 9507 (U18B) Built 1974 PICK 9508, Ex-CSX 9508 (U18B) Built 1973 These unique locomotives were so cool, it's hard to believe they were built over 50 years ago. It's a short drive from the Hartwell Railroad and a great place to spend the day. サウスカロライナ州Beltonは2つのローカル線が交わる場所です。 小さな入換線でお互いの貨車を交換する場所なので、片方が走っていればもう片方も撮影できる確率が高いです。 U18Bは他では撮影できないレア機。独特なエンジン音を聴きに訪れてみてはいかがでしょうか。 Recorded gate: 2025年10月3日

Shortlines Tour ① Hartwell Railroad ~南部アメリカ地方貨物鉄道ツアー①~
I visited HRT in 2022, but there was no job, probably because it was right after Independence Day. On my return visit in 2025, I was fortunate enough to record the Toccoa Turn Job. HRT654, Ex-EJE 654 (SD38) Built 1970 HRT4556, Ex-CNW 4556 (GP9) Built 1957 The engine sounds of both locomotives were amazing, and it was the perfect start to my journey. ハートウェル鉄道はスタンダードキャブ等、古めの機関車が好きな人にとっては楽園です。 CONRAILやRIO GRANDEの塗装を残した機関車が現役で活躍しています。 前回訪問時には全く動かなかったので、今回無事に記録できたことを嬉しく思います。 入換時の重厚なエンジン音を楽しんでください。 Recorded date: 2025年10月3日
